Gen Z’s cause a shift to a sustainable economy

Mission

As a former Environmental Science and Food Science student, sustainability and its manifestation in our current food system have always been the question at heart. During my internship at Voiz, a social venture that empowers GenZ’s to shift the economy onto a sustainable path, I was responsible for evaluating and rating the sustainability of products with an emphasis in the food and restaurant industry. This includes gauging the impact of a product’s life cycle across the UN SDG’s and completing an eight-week training program in sustainability evaluation: Life Cycle Analysis, zero net, transparency, corporate sustainability processes and decision making, sustainable product design, and sustainability innovation.
