Black Farmer Fund is an emerging community investment fund that strives to create a more equitable food system for black food business owners. In the winter season of 2021, BFF is launching their first pilot fund for 8 black food businesses in New York that have been selected from a competitive pool of applicants. In order to help promote BFF to attract more investors and partners as well as build a black farmer community, we initiated the launch campaign by increasing financial literacy on social media through reel production, partnering with micro-influencers, consulting in website redesign, planning feature documentary series, creating press contents, and adopting “blue-sky” transmedia research.
